Hit by flak during an attack on the Murmansk-Leningrad railway line. The pilot made a forced landing on the frozen lake Pyavozero in Russia. Lt. Helmut Ziegenhagen.(wounded) Uffz. Franz Kirchmayer.(wounded). The plane was salvaged and brought to the UK in 1991. Six years later it ended up as an exhibit at Deutsche Technikmuseum, Berlin.
